Byredo announces the opening of a new store in Beijing. Located in WF Central, the luxury retail and lifestyle destination, this marks the brand’s third standalone space in the city, and an important step in its evolving retail presence within China.

Making a bold visual statement, the WF Central store is presented in a monochromatic palette of earthy tones. With the brand’s typical focus on materiality, travertine stone covers the entirety of the front and walls, augmented with black filling in an expression of impactful modernity.

Existing in exquisite tension, artisanal flooring of black terrazzo is juxtaposed against utilitarian accents such as aluminium-framed vitrines and lightboxes. Bright pops of furniture punctuate the clean, minimalist space – a surprising gesture that articulates Byredo’s vision of contemporary luxury.
